A Little Spain, A Little France, and a Lot of Good Wine! 🇪🇸🇫🇷🍷
Two countries, two wonderful culinary traditions, and one table filled with good food, great wine, and friends. Some of the best meals in life aren't rushed. They're the ones where the food is prepared with love, the wine flows, conversations linger, and nobody is in a hurry to leave the table.
This Sunday Nov 1 at 1:30 pm, we're bringing together two of our favorite European culinary traditions for a special, intimate lunch at San Martiño Winery & Vineyards. We'll begin in Spain, make our way to the French countryside, and enjoy a little wine along the way. No passports required!
Our First Course — A Taste of Spain 🇪🇸
We'll start with homemade empanadas, golden and flaky on the outside, filled with a delicious combination of tender chicken and flavorful Spanish chorizo. These little pockets of goodness are a beloved part of Spanish cooking and a wonderful way to begin our afternoon.
Our Second Course — A Journey to Burgundy, France 🇫🇷
Next, we'll travel to the heart of the French countryside for one of its most treasured dishes: Beef Bourguignon. Often called the king of French stews, this is comfort food at its very best. Generous pieces of tender beef are slowly braised in red wine with onions, carrots, garlic, and fragrant herbs until the meat becomes wonderfully tender and the sauce develops a deep, rich flavor. We'll serve it over a bed of creamy, buttery mashed potatoes, perfect for soaking up every delicious drop of that beautiful wine sauce.
