Day 1, Friday, June 20: Dallas—Spain Depart your home city, via connection, on an overnight trans-Atlantic flight.
Day 3, Sunday, June 22 : MADRID Buffet breakfast. This morning's sightseeing tour will allow you to get a glimpse of some of Madrid's most outstanding attractions, like the Puerta del Sol, the magnificent fountains of Neptune and Cibeles, the stately Alcala Gate, and the Plaza de Oriente. Then for a tour to the Imperial former capital city of Toledo, where you will be escorted through its narrow cobblestone streets, soaking up the medieval atmosphere. Touring will include the interior of the magnificent Gothic cathedral and a visit to St. Tome Church, where El Greco's masterpiece painting is displayed. Enjoy a Paella Lunch today. There will also be some time for shopping for the unique typical local artisan in the afternoon. Accommodations.
Day 5, Tuesday, June 24: SALAMANCA-TORO-SANTIAGO DE COMPOSTELA Buffet breakfast. Departure toward the North of Spain. Stop at a winery along the way in Toro. Arrival to the beautiful city of Santiago de Compostela. Tonight we can have in the Hotel a nice dinner with the typical "Queimada". Accommodations.
Day 7, Thursday, June 26 : SANTIAGO DE COMPOSTELA-VIGO-OPORTO Buffet breakfast. Departure to the area of las "rias baixas", on our way to Portugal. Pause in Vigo then to cross the border visiting a winery along the way to Guimaraes and Braga, before arriving to Oporto, the beautiful and rich city, noted for its namesake Port wines. A typical dinner tonight. Accommodations Day 8, Friday, June 29 : OPORTO Buffet breakfast Morning tour of this lovely city highlights and cathedral tour with a visit to a local winery.
